Explorer Software - User Modes

The Explore software now operates in four distinct modes. These are:

  • Active Session Mode: use this when taking data. Click on New to start a new Session. View a screenshot.
  • Review Session Mode: use this when reviewing the data in a completed Session. Click on Open to view the Session of your choice. View a screenshot.
  • Calibration Scan Review Mode: Calibrations can now use scans that are the average of several individual scans, a special review mode is included to separately view the scans used to build the calibration (or MSA) curve. Click on Show Calibration Scans in the Calibrate menu. View a screenshot.
  • Single Scan Review Mode: To allow backward compatibility, old scans files (".tds" files) can be loaded individually. These scans do not have to be associated with a Session. Click on Open and select the “.tds” file type to view individual scans for loading.
