Explorer Software - Scan Management
An all-new scan management scheme has been implemented:
- We now use a “session” metaphor: in each session we now store every scan.
- A measurement session consists of all scans associated with a calibrated measurement as well as the calibration data if a calibration is performed.
- Each session contains only one calibration and one instance of the electrode thin-film plating wizard.
- Once ended, a session cannot be appended to.
- There is no longer a ten-deep scan buffer. Any and all scans in a Session can be viewed. Special scans can be "marked" in order to view up to ten selected scans at any one time for custom reporting.
- To preserve data integrity session scan-data cannot be altered but Scan IDs and peak baselines can be edited.
